The Farmers Market

Mondays here have one thing going for them...

our weekly farmers market. 

I got lucky this week because they had fresh farm eggs and cilantro 

which I desperately needed.

I can't wait to see what they'll bring me next week.

This weekend I'm at my parent's and, of course,

it has consisted of a lot of time outdoors.

Family picnics, long walks, and kayaking

have been a welcomed change to my 
every day routine this last week.

The Graduate

As of yesterday I am officially a college graduate.

I'm now Mariel Torres the Medical Laboratory Scientist

(has a nice ring to it right? hehe)

It still hasn't hit me that I am all done.

I woke up this morning with plans to head to Starbucks to study for the day...

what is wrong with me?

Now, let the rest of my life begin!

HELLOOO board exam, big move to Madison, travel, MCAT, travel, 

medschool, travel, wedding, travel, house, travel, babies?!?

Perhaps not in that specific order ;)

Beaching it... finally

Darlings,

I'm back in Michigan.

Last Friday marked my very last day of clinicals at the hospital

and I'm now here for my graduation this weekend.  No more 

student status for me... well, at least till med school.

To say I'm excited is definitely an understatement.

For the first time this year I feel like I'm on Summer break.

This, of course, was to be celebrated with a trip 

to the beach with the girls.

I finally have a tan! Goodbye translucent Mariel.

About a month ago I headed to Canada to see one of my 

best friends marry the love of her life and 

fulfill my MOH duties.

This wonderful event had to be celebrated with the 

most beautiful wedding, of course.

From the absolutely stunning bride to the marvelous

 color palet of chocolate and pool blue, it will all be

love at first sight with you dolls.
