No, we are not ashamed.

Best movie EVER... after Gone With the Wind, of course.

Traveling with Brenda

Ce fut une expérience merveilleuse. Paris, la ville de l´amour, était très romantique. 

Favorite memory from this trip? Boat ride on the Seine River. Hands down. I thought my heart would explode of joy, definitely one of the most romantics experiences in my life. On the riverside you could see couples kissing under the moon light and groups of friends having picnics as they enjoyed of parisian music. Along the Seine was a park where couples were dancing tango to add to the romance. Definitely this boat trip wasn't meant to be taken without that special someone by your side.

You don't need magic to disappeared. All you need is a destination.

Even a few kilometers before arriving, I could already distinguish Mont Saint-Michel imposing silhouette. I was VERY   impressed.  The chilly fog hid most of the top of the castle making it look somewhat gloomy and gothic. Truly one of the                                                    most magical and unique experiences of my life.

Sandwiched between Brugges, Brussels and Antwerpen. The little gem of a city is host to some of the most gorgeous attractions. Unfortunately, this medieval art-town between Belgium's big three is often overlooked by tourists.  Good thing I didn't because I had a scrumptious waffle dipped in Nutella and the very best French fries there.

Gruyeres is a medieval town located in the upper valley of the Saane river.
What I enjoyed the most was looking at the green mountains with the cows and sheep grazing. 
I mean, that's not something you see a lot of here in the States.

When you travel, remember that a foreign country is not designed to make you comfortable. It is designed to make its own people comfortable.

Monaco is located between mountains and sea in the very heart of Europe. I would say this makes it the ideal destination for a romantic vacation. I was impressed at how dynamic and oriented towards the future Monaco's economy is. Of course, money doesn't seem to be lacking in Monaco with expensive stores like Chanel, Valetino, and Versace in every corner... and casinos, of course.

today is a good day

Darlings,

I got the job... a month before graduating.

I get to put aside my STUDENT badge sooner than I had dreamed of.

God has blessed me beyond words and for 

that I am so grateful.

This is going to be an amazing learning/growing experience 

that will prepare me for med school in ways otherwise impossible.

 I just hope this midnight shift treats me good hehe.

Darlings,
This year's celebrations was probably one of the
most laid back yet and I loved every minute of it.

I rode the train the night before to my aunt's town
were I spent the night. After a delicious home-cooked
breakfast, a walk downtown, fro-yo, and a break
dancing performance (definitely not by yours truly),
we concluded the days celebrations by sitting
on a small hill "ooooh-ing" and "aaaah-ing"
over the fireworks.

It was a good day.
