I have a confession to make... me and heights are not friends. So when I recently came across this list and realized that I really wanted to go to some of them, I was pretty astonished. Now tell me, would you add any of these places to your "must-visit" list?
Aiguille du Midi Bridge, France (Getting there requires taking a cable car that climbs 9,200 vertical feet in just 20 minutes):
Royal Gorge Bridge, Colorado (America’s highest suspension bridge- nearly 90 stories above the Arkansas River):
Trift Suspension Bridge (One of the Alps’ longest and highest pedestrian suspension bridges):
Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge, Northern Ireland (Many visitors who walk across simply can't handle the return and have to go by boat):
Capilano Suspension Bridge, Canada (450 feet long; 230 feet high):
Chesapeake Bay Bridge, Maryland (Subjected to frequent—and often violent—storms):
Hussaini Hanging Bridge, Pakistan (Massive gaps between the planks and a wild side-to-side swing... oh how fun):
Sidu River Bridge, China (Rises more than 1,500 feet in the air):
Seven Mile Bridge, Florida (Its position in Florida Keys makes it a prime target for the region’s many hurricanes):
