A Melon Cooler. Doesn't it sound simply captivating?
Step 1- Cut 2 cups cantaloupe into half-inch cubes
Step 2- Freeze pieces
Step 3- With 2 cups honeydew melon repeat steps 1 and 2
Step 4- Add 2 tablespoons of sugar
Step 5- Puree the melons: Place the frozen cantaloupe pieces, 1/2 cup of water, and 1 tablespoon sugar into a blender and purée on high speed until fruit is smooth and pourable.
Step 6- Transfer to a bowl and keep chilled.
Step 7- Repeat steps 5 and 6 using the frozen honeydew
Step 8- Assemble the drink: Alternately layer about 1/3 cup of the puréed cantaloupe followed by the same amount of the honeydew melon into 2 large glasses.
